Do I get my boyfriend's brother a wedding present?

My boyfriend and his brother are going together to get his brother a wedding present. Both my boyfriend and his brother are groomsmen. Do us girlfriends get a present for our boyfriends' brother a present too? What would be an appropriate gift?

I think it would be a very nice gesture for you and your friend to go in on a wedding gift for your boyfriend's brother. It sounds like you boyfriend and his brother are getting the groom a gift as groomsmen and brothers.

As for a gift, if there is not a wedding registry, where the couple have listed what they need, then any gift to help them start their life together would be great.

Typically I look for items that remind me of the bride and groom. They may be items to decorate their new home, useful items that they would enjoy or something a little unusual that no one else would think of.
