How to word on our invitation that we would like gifts?

For our engagement we are planning on moving out and my sister-in-law said have like a poem saying gifts etc. How to word it? Please help...

Congratulations on your engagement! It is a wonderful time of your life. You have a couple of options with gift ideas. If you are having a personal wedding website, it is a great idea to put a link to your registry there. Another place that you can put registry information is in your bridal shower invitations. Word of mouth travels fast among those you are inviting to the wedding. This is a great way to share any ideas of what you need.

As for your wedding invitations, it is not good etiquette to put any type of gift request therein. In many cases your guests will acknowledge the beginning of your new life with a gift.
